i’m so excited to share this super simple tip with y’all on how to make a mediocre coffee roast taste fabulous. i love my coffee (smooth, dark roast is my fav). but sometimes, desperation–no coffee at 7am!–or low cash the last few days of the month means i have to buy a less than awesome roast.
but did you know that adding a dash or two of cinnamon to the grounds before you turn your machine on (or before you add water to the french press) pretty much masks any bitter or acidic notes in the coffee?
the best, in autumn, is adding a few dashes of pumpkin pie spice to the grounds. that’s what i had this morning. a wee little diy autumn blend!!
